Caution: Slippery When Wet.

Sup yall! 


    So I just passed my 2 month mark the other day not that I'm counting or anything. But dang it's flying by so fast and I'm also still in my first transfer, this transfer has been a 7 week transfer which is typically long cuz they're usually only 6 weeks. Next transfer is only 5 which is weird too but anyways, this week was pretty good! Not a whole lot but it was a good week. 


     I have been having a lot of opportunities to teach on my mission which has been so good and I love just confronting people and sparking conversations cuz I'm not scared to just talk to people, and it's been helping a lot! This week we found a new person almost every day which is really hard for our area. Me and my comp are popping off and doing really really good! I haven't said anything about member dinners in a while which is always my highlights, but we haven't been fed as much as we used to. This week members just took us out to eat so there was nothing too crazy to talk about sadly. This week it's just been raining a lot which is fun and caused a lot of flooding and slipping. But I also went biking for the first time on my mission which SUCKED at first but I pushed through and enjoyed it in the end. That was when we had exchanges and I was with one of the zone leaders in my area. It was really good! 


     I really don't have much to say about my week. I feel like my pictures tell the stories better than I can. But I'm doing really good for those who are wondering! My testimony is growing each and everyday and I'm just loving my mission so much! Also feel free to send ya boy a little letter or package!

A Good Week

Hey!        It hasn't been that long since we last talked! All is well here in Hobbs America. My new companion elder Hepworth is really cool and he lives up to the reputation of being a hard worker. It's been nice to push each other and get lots of work done. We had an incredible day on Saturday where we talked to 31 people and had door step lessons and gave out lots of book of Mormons. It was an exhausting day, but I loved it so much. We have some good appointments set up for this coming week that I'm excited for and some will be with really prepared people, so I'm hoping we can progress with them. Other than that it's been amazing so far and I'm really enjoying it, and hobbs is just getting better and better.        The mission has been a huge Rollercoaster these past 18 months. The Magnificent Work Of The Lord

Look who's back      Man what a great conference weekend. I enjoyed this conference so much and it was probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable conference experiences I've had. This was my last time being able to watch conference as a set apart missionary and it just meant a lot to me to hear about the gathering of israel as my mission is coming to a close here in a few short months. I hope yall enjoyed it as well and got spiritually uplifted in the places that you needed to be. I want you guys to pause for a second and brace yourselves for impact. Maybe buckle your seat belts if you will. We're about to talk about an eventful week. Last week I mentioned how we were planning on talking about baptism with a few of our friends. TLM (Trenchcoat Loving Mission)

Howdy doodly!      Picture this: We're all having a good time and enjoying life as it goes. Things are going so smooth that it begins to be a little suspicious, and thats when it hit me, that darn trenchcoat. See, last pday my companion and I went thrift shopping with the other missionaries. Unbenounced to me, I would see it. I would come to regret it. The women's trench coat. He buys a women's trench coat and has worn it everyday since. If I didn't know any better I would think he showers, and sleeps in it. I was also given special permission via request, to write about this in today's episode. We were supposed to have a great week with more than 10 lessons, but they all punched through and canceled. Every. Single. One. The same week my companion decides to wear this trenchcoat. Coincidence? I think not. Illuminati confirmed. There must be a spirit attached to it, or maybe a curse, legend has it.
