Howdy!

Hey yall I'm still alive!

I don't have much to say about this week. Not a whole lot happened. We're still out teaching lots of people and biking our butts literally off. A bunch of Elders (including me) also did the one chip challenge. It's the world's hottest chip and it tasted awful, but it wasn't really that spicy.  But for the most part there's not much I have to say.

This week we got 6 people to church which is really good! And that was a miracle because in terms of work this week it wasn't our best despite our hard work and best efforts. Biking really killed our work. It dropped our progress tremendously and it's been a grind to bike around and try to continue meeting who we were and doing what we were before we started biking. We met with Joseph and asked for him and his family to be baptized again. We are setting the date and goal for him to be baptized by November 26th! So thats dope! Stay tuned for that! We also did more service this week. Service is always a hit or miss. It can be a breath of fresh air to kind of "relax" for a little bit, or it can be a traumatic experience. A lot of people use us for our service and expect us to do everything for them because we won't say no obviously, but then we never see them at church or hear anything else from them other than asking for a favor. But I know that it's planting seeds and hopefully over time we will see them come to a point of excepting the gospel again.

That was pretty much it. Like I said, wasn't too much. But if you know me, you know I can be pretty blunt sometimes and not shy from how I'm feeling about something. This week I've been struggling to be honest. I think it's finally hit me that I really am out here on my mission and I only have my faith and testimony to rely on. It's hard to feel like i've been doing much because the people we are teaching for the most part, are not progressing at all and it's exhausting to be doing so much work and feeling like it's going no where. This week I've just been counting down the days until p-day, something I've never done before. I love the work and staying busy and teaching what I find peace and comfort in, and something I know is true. But lately I have been just so tired and feeling kind of defeated. I know there's gonna be weeks and days like this, maybe even months, so I know it's going to be fine and end up being better so don't feel bad for me at all. Just wanted to share the reality of what's been going on. I'm looking forward to starting fresh next week! And I'm looking forward to zone conference on Tuesday! Those are always fun.

Anyways yall this week's been pretty good for the most part! Thanks again for all that you do for me! Love yall!
