P-Day Already???
What is up you beautiful people?
Hope yall are doing good! Man this week was a blur, I swear I just sent my last email so I'm sorry about this one being a little later than usual. This week I barely remember what went down and even looking back in my journal, and things I wrote down I don't remember doing any of them. It's the weirdest thing ever. I don't know if I've got early onset dementia or if this week was just really that fast. It's kinda wack.
Anyways, I've been enjoying my mission so far. Still tryna take it all in and get the best out of everything. This week we had zone conference and it was really good. I felt like I needed to be better and improve myself and my work. Which Is crazy becuase I've been a workaholic and going hard non stop, but I feel like my best, needs to be better. It was good to hang with some more missionaries and smoke them in pickleball and baseball. It's always fun when we get together. I've also still been eating and stuffing myself like I'm a Thanksgiving turkey. Oh my goodness have I gained weight. Its alright however becuase I am still also putting on muscle. But not much has changed and thats okay. I'm ready for a change to be honest. I'm not one to stick with something for too long, I tend to get bored or lose interest pretty quickly, maybe I have some ADHD or ADD or something lol. But I want to experience other areas on my mission and meet new people and all of that good stuff. But I'm learning to be patient and stick it through to the end. I'm most likely here in Odessa 1st ward for at least 2 more months.
Is it obvious that I'm trying to fill in for the lack of knowledge of what went on this week? I've never had my days go this fast it's insane and hard to keep up with. I can't belive I'm hitting my 3 month mark in a few days. I feel like I was just set apart the other day. I think whats making me forget everything is this week I got sick. Matter of fact I was sick all day yesterday and didn't go to church. Me and an elder just spent the whole day yesterday trying to get better and sleep and heal up, so that was boring. That same elder (elder miller) and I also had exchanges and that was really fun. We are literally the same person and the whole day was just a blast. The rest of this week me and elder ili found a new person to teach so thats awesome! We're carrying the zone and leading in lessons and finding people and bringing people to church. Unfortunately we didn't meet with Joseph this week due to him being too busy, but he did make it to church!! Or so I've heard cuz... you know.... I wasn't there.
A lot of our lessons this week punched or fell through, which is even worse on bikes because you bike your butt all the way over to someone and then they don't answer or they aren't there. It's kind of frustrating but it also opens doors and time for us to go on a hunt for new people. Also people here are super mean in their car but super nice when they aren't. It's like a switch when they get in. It's wild. People purposefully try to hit us with their car or drive super super fast next to us and get as close as possible, or they will yell and throw things at us. The worst is when there is water on the road. We never get too close to a puddle. I also have to go get x-ray scans and blood work done tomorrow so please put me in your prayers! Sorry I'm all over the place in this email. I'm really just writing down what comes to mind. But yeah that's pretty much this week! It was good and super fast like I mentioned a lot before! My testimony is growing and I'm so grateful becuase I didn't have much of one if not one at all, before the mission. I love you all and wish you the best! Feel free to reach out and I'll try my best to respondDr.
