A Great Week

Hey yall! 


     Sorry for the late response, I've been busy these past few days and didn't get a chance to write out an email. This week was really good and we met with some new people as well! Today we went to a Christian banquet for one of our friends we do service for, and it was this big event about pro life and how we can bring more souls to christ. It was a really cool event and I enjoyed my time there. We also ate really good food this week and you know how I love my food! But overall this week was pretty chill but still productive. 


     The people we have been teaching are still progressing thankfully. Jazmins date got pushed back from today, to the 6th of May. We got her to start reading the scriptures and understanding the importance of baptism and following the commandments. Bradie is still doing good and is a member at this point, even though he hasn't been baptized and confirmed yet. But he's still good to get dunked on June first. Naomi is still good to get dunked soon as well! And everyone else we're teaching is progressing as well. We met someone named Austin at a coffee shop in town where I get my hot hoarchata fix in. He's been in my opinion, the most interested investigator I have taught yet. He just kept asking for more and more, and it was a really good lesson. So things have been going good. 


Anyways yall I gotta get to bed, but my weeks been pretty good so far! I'll definitely make more time for my email next week and put some more details in there, but just wanted to let yall know I'm still alive.

A Good Week

Hey!        It hasn't been that long since we last talked! All is well here in Hobbs America. My new companion elder Hepworth is really cool and he lives up to the reputation of being a hard worker. It's been nice to push each other and get lots of work done. We had an incredible day on Saturday where we talked to 31 people and had door step lessons and gave out lots of book of Mormons. It was an exhausting day, but I loved it so much. We have some good appointments set up for this coming week that I'm excited for and some will be with really prepared people, so I'm hoping we can progress with them. Other than that it's been amazing so far and I'm really enjoying it, and hobbs is just getting better and better.        The mission has been a huge Rollercoaster these past 18 months. The Magnificent Work Of The Lord

Look who's back      Man what a great conference weekend. I enjoyed this conference so much and it was probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable conference experiences I've had. This was my last time being able to watch conference as a set apart missionary and it just meant a lot to me to hear about the gathering of israel as my mission is coming to a close here in a few short months. I hope yall enjoyed it as well and got spiritually uplifted in the places that you needed to be. I want you guys to pause for a second and brace yourselves for impact. Maybe buckle your seat belts if you will. We're about to talk about an eventful week. Last week I mentioned how we were planning on talking about baptism with a few of our friends. Well we extended invitations to 6 of our friends and they all accepted it! We are going to be baptizing Waldo on the 20th this month (unless I get transfered) and Yvette with her 4 kids on May 11th. TLM (Trenchcoat Loving Mission)

Howdy doodly!      Picture this: We're all having a good time and enjoying life as it goes. Things are going so smooth that it begins to be a little suspicious, and thats when it hit me, that darn trenchcoat. See, last pday my companion and I went thrift shopping with the other missionaries. Unbenounced to me, I would see it. I would come to regret it. The women's trench coat. He buys a women's trench coat and has worn it everyday since. If I didn't know any better I would think he showers, and sleeps in it. I was also given special permission via request, to write about this in today's episode. We were supposed to have a great week with more than 10 lessons, but they all punched through and canceled. Every. Single. One. The same week my companion decides to wear this trenchcoat. Coincidence? I think not. Illuminati confirmed. There must be a spirit attached to it, or maybe a curse, legend has it.
