I Love My Calling

Another week! 


      I hope everyone enjoyed their week and had a good time. I don't know about where you're from but I thought I'd rub it in a little, this week's weather has been perfect! Nothing else puts me in a good mood like good weather does. Being able to drive around with the windows down and feel the breeze is always a good feeling. Anyways, I enjoyed this week. Me and the new guy in our trio are becoming very close and thats been helping my mental distress a lot. My district has also been getting closer with each other and they seem to be doing very well, their work is popping off too! We had a lunch with bradie and some non members on Saturday and it's been nice to see him grow. He's basically a member at this point, just not baptized and confirmed. Jazmin is doing good too but we might be pushing her baptismal date for a little later because she's not really reading her scriptures and praying and she expressed that she doesn't feel like she's learning anything, so we're going to really focus on the basics and make sure she's ready. Naomi is the same situation, but she is doing well. We met some new people just by going to Walmart and getting hot horchata. (throw back if you remember) but overall this week was super good! 


      There's really not much for me to write about if I'm being honest. We had exchanges, we taught our usual people, and we found some new people like written above. Maybe I'll do something crazy this week just so I have something to write home about. (Just kidding) I'm enjoying being in the trio and I've just been happy and I feel back to my normal crazy, positive self. What else is there to say!

A Good Week

Hey!        It hasn't been that long since we last talked! All is well here in Hobbs America. My new companion elder Hepworth is really cool and he lives up to the reputation of being a hard worker. It's been nice to push each other and get lots of work done. We had an incredible day on Saturday where we talked to 31 people and had door step lessons and gave out lots of book of Mormons. It was an exhausting day, but I loved it so much. We have some good appointments set up for this coming week that I'm excited for and some will be with really prepared people, so I'm hoping we can progress with them. Other than that it's been amazing so far and I'm really enjoying it, and hobbs is just getting better and better.        The mission has been a huge Rollercoaster these past 18 months. The Magnificent Work Of The Lord

Look who's back      Man what a great conference weekend. I enjoyed this conference so much and it was probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable conference experiences I've had. This was my last time being able to watch conference as a set apart missionary and it just meant a lot to me to hear about the gathering of israel as my mission is coming to a close here in a few short months. I hope yall enjoyed it as well and got spiritually uplifted in the places that you needed to be. I want you guys to pause for a second and brace yourselves for impact. Maybe buckle your seat belts if you will. We're about to talk about an eventful week. Last week I mentioned how we were planning on talking about baptism with a few of our friends. Well we extended invitations to 6 of our friends and they all accepted it! We are going to be baptizing Waldo on the 20th this month (unless I get transfered) and Yvette with her 4 kids on May 11th. TLM (Trenchcoat Loving Mission)

Howdy doodly!      Picture this: We're all having a good time and enjoying life as it goes. Things are going so smooth that it begins to be a little suspicious, and thats when it hit me, that darn trenchcoat. See, last pday my companion and I went thrift shopping with the other missionaries. Unbenounced to me, I would see it. I would come to regret it. The women's trench coat. He buys a women's trench coat and has worn it everyday since. If I didn't know any better I would think he showers, and sleeps in it. I was also given special permission via request, to write about this in today's episode. We were supposed to have a great week with more than 10 lessons, but they all punched through and canceled.
