Goodbye Plainview

Good morning

Well it's been a good run. We got transfer news this weekend and I'm leaving plainview. I have come to love this area so much and everything that it's taught me. I've seen it at a state where there was little to no work to do, all the way to where it is now. I've definitely grown and learned the most here so far. It's been challenging but rewarding. I will always have a special place in my heart for plainview, and especially all the amazing people that I met here as well. I am going to return back to the Odessa zone, the Zone I started my mission in, only this time I'm even more isolated from the city compared to plainview. It's going to be me and my companion living in a literal shed. It's an incredibly small town but a big area to cover. It's in the mountains which is nice, but far from everything and everyone else. I'm a social butterfly, especially with other missionaries, so it will take some adjusting for sure, but im excited for the new adventures it brings. I am also no longer a district leader which is bitter sweet, I learned to love and enjoy that calling. And now I will finally be just a missionary without added responsibilities in leadership. So hello alpine!

Yesterday was a hard day for me, in fact this whole week will be difficult. Saying goodbye is one of the worst and hardest things to do. I have gotten so incredibly close with the branch here and it was hard to see them cry when I broke the news to them. But now yall get to see my favorite people that I have written about in my previous updates. This week was also very slow because it has been non stop raining the entire week. The rain has been nice because we needed it badly, but it really hurt our work, but I can't control that so it's all good.

I've realized a huge difference in terms of my confidence, ability to talk to anyone without fear, spirituality, and so much more. I am learning so much on my mission and I'm grateful for the good and bad experiences that I have been having. No where else would I be taught some lessons that I'm learning, and I know I'm in the right place at the right time. I really do see God's hand in it all, It's really cool to see how I am a tool for him and his work and how he puts me in places where I need to be.

Well yall that's all from me! Thanks for all your support. Love yall!
