How good is your relationship with God?
Lately I have had a lot of time to meditate, pray, and reflect on my life and think about how I have felt God helping me through my journeys, and how I've built my relationship with him.
In a world so full of noise, it's often times hard to hear the still small voice of our savior and the spirit. This can cause us to sometimes feel discouraged, disconnected, hopeless, confused, and lost. We might ask ourselves, like Jesus Christ did on the cross, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"
While we may feel he is not there sometimes, through faith, daily prayer, and studying the scriptures, we can communicate with God and build a relationship with him. God loves you individually and he is waiting for you to call on him so he can answer your personal prayers and relieve you from your hardest most troubling burdens.
I recently had an experience where I have had my prayers answered. For as long as I can remember, I prayed for a family member that was close to me who was struggling and going down a hard path in life. After many long years, doubts, fears, frustration, and many mixed emotions, My prayer was finally answered. The wait was worth it because I received more than I could have imagined, and the lords answer was better than any answer I tried to give myself.
I know that God answers our prayers
I know that God is in all the details of our lives
I know that he's there
I promise that as you increase your communication with him by praying often, studying the scriptures daily, and listen for his voice, you will feel him, and you will be surrounded by his arms and love, and you will know with a surety that he is always with you.
