Jesus Loves You
Good morning yall,
This has been a very interesting week. It's been a challenge trying to find motivation in this area again, and the mental battles of pulling myself out of ruts and pushing through, over and over again, is exhausting. I'm feeling very burnt out in this area, and having to lead the area and show the ropes for the third time in a row and not seeing many fruits, is also exhausting. Regardless of that, I'm determined to leave this area better than I found it, and get things going here again. I'm happy to see that this area is turning Spanish. My new companion is fluent, and it's been helping with our work a lot. We started an English class which we teach every Thursday, and we spent the past few days making and hanging flyers. We had 3 Spanish lessons yesterday and it's so different and weird to be uncomfortable and confused during a lesson. I've always felt confident with teaching and actually really enjoy it, but it's a new experience to be in a lesson and have no idea what's going on and I'm speaking nonsense of Spanish, but I'm happy that my companion gets the chance to teach and use his skills.
So I made really really good friends with all the primary kids in our branch and it brings me so much joy. My little homie Jamison is a wild child and has so much energy for a 3 year old. He was doing his Bible matching game in church and just ran up to me and started screaming "Jesus loves youuuuu, Jesus loves youuuuu" and had to let everyone know that Jesus loved me. (Elah jenens, because he cant say my name yet) It was such a wholesome moment, but also a good reminder that Jesus loves all of us and sends his angels to remind us in mysterious ways. He also saw that I cut my hand open from doing so much yard work and service, and gave me a paw-patrol bandaid for my boo-boo, so now I am healed. Shout out to Jamison.
Well I don't have much to add. I apologize for not responding to emails lately. Also sorry for the lack of photos, I don't have anymore storage on my account and I can't transfer them to an SD card and keep the Google drives at the same time. But I hope all of you are doing well, and thanks again for all of your support. Take care and peace!
