The Final March
Hey guys!
As many of you may have heard, I hit my 18 month milestone the other day. I'm not one to keep track of things at all, let alone how long I've been deprived of seeing my family, but it's settling in that my mission is almost accomplished and the end is near. I fly home July 13th, so just a few short months. Anyways, enough about talking about the end. Let's focus on what's happening here. We've still been on the tracting grind. Although this week has definitely been less tracting which is good. We are slowly starting to see some progress with the area, and with people scheduling appointments. We're praying and hoping that we can see these people make and keep commitments, and progress on the covenent path. Finding the motivation has been pretty hard for us recently. I know I mentioned that a few times in previous entry's, but it's been a struggle and one that has been getting harder. I think J Cole said it best: "...there's beauty in the struggle..." While it's mentally and physically demanding and maybe at times degrading, seeing blessing come from your efforts is beautiful, and this is where the gospel conversion really takes place and happens. How many people quit when things get hard? If it was easy it wouldn't be good because nothing good ever comes easy.
Zone conference is tomorrow and we get to have a zone pday today, and a sleepover at the mission home, so I'm sorry if I don't reply or respond.
Anyways thats about all I have. I know not every week is one to write home to, but I like to keep you guys in the loop. Yall stay safe and take care!
