Where's Waldo?

Hey gang!

Hope yall had a great week! I know I did. (For the most part) Just wanna say a huge thank you to those who respond to my emails or write to me even after my lack of responses, I read them all and appreciate every single one. Honestly this week was a fever dream, or for all my old folks who aren't up to date with the lingo, a blur. A lot happened but at the same time not. We're slowly continuing to have more setup lessons, but again they are all falling through and we aren't meeting with the people who say they can. We've had a lot of lessons and some pretty solid ones too. We talked about baptism with our friend Waldo and he really wants to be ready for it, so that's amazing! We also brought up baptism to Yvettes family and all of her kids would like to be baptised too! All 6 of them including her. So we're going to focus on setting up a date and time to get everyone dunked! I hope that I get to stay and watch this area continue to grow. When I first got here I was very frustrated with the neglect this area had. I've never seen an area taken care of so poorly and with such little care or respect. Since my time here, and with the strength of God, I've made some life long friends, seen the area blossom and flourish with amazing elect people, and seen myself grow as well. Its been tough, but each day gets a little easier to bare. I only have 2 more transfers so it wouldnt make sense to do 1 more here, but I pray that will happen. My whole mission I've been able to see amazing growth and progress in my areas and the people I teach and then I leave just before it hits its peak. I guess I still live by the scout code of leaving a place better than you found it.

As far as other details go, there's not much. We had exchanges which went well. I got sick for 3 days but decided that I didn't want to be behind on God's schedule and have a lot of homework, so I went out and worked regardless and it was rewarding and I saw how much of a difference it made and also how fast I've been able to recover. We had zone conference which was really good and gave me more fire. And that's honestly it! Oh and I had Facebook blocked on my phone by my mission president so I won't see your posts or comments or anything until I go home or if I log onto a computer, but I'm not ever going to do that. Anyways thats it from me! Yall take care!

I've been getting questions regarding my comments on Facebook. I asked my mission president to restrict access from Facebook because it was too distracting and also hard to see friends going home and see things like that so I asked him to remove it. Hope that clarifies things. Also I wanted to update on kennede. She got spiritual confirmation that the book of mormon is true and the church is true. We've been working with her to reignite her testimony and she struggles with being the only member in her family so she has lots of questions and fears, but she's doing awesome! We're working towards her going to the temple again and staying active

Hope that helps!
