My Companion Is A Panini Press

Hey guys! 


      What's going on, it's your favorite gringo. I realized I forgot to mention about Waldos baptism in last week's entry and that's probably because it didn't happen. We unfortunately had to postpone it due to some things that came up and now we might be having to continue to push it out. It's not due to any real serious issues, but just the unfortunate circumstances that have been taking place. Waldo is now 0-3 with baptisms. We're hoping to officially get a date setup and finally get him dunked. As for the rest of this week there isn't much to really talk about. We were supposed to have over 22 lessons this week but most of them have fallen through which was sad. Sometimes other peoples agency can be a little frustrating. We did get to do a lot of service this week which was fun, and I got to hold a bunch of turtles at a members house which according to the ward share sisters is my spirit animal. What do you guys think? 


      To be honest this might be the most boring missionary update of all time, cuz that's really all I got that comes to mind. I am still alive and trying to hold on to the very end. Thanks yall for being awesome and supporting me. Yall take care!

A Good Week

Hey!        It hasn't been that long since we last talked! All is well here in Hobbs America. My new companion elder Hepworth is really cool and he lives up to the reputation of being a hard worker. It's been nice to push each other and get lots of work done. We had an incredible day on Saturday where we talked to 31 people and had door step lessons and gave out lots of book of Mormons. It was an exhausting day, but I loved it so much. We have some good appointments set up for this coming week that I'm excited for and some will be with really prepared people, so I'm hoping we can progress with them. Other than that it's been amazing so far and I'm really enjoying it, and hobbs is just getting better and better.        The mission has been a huge Rollercoaster these past 18 months. The Magnificent Work Of The Lord

Look who's back      Man what a great conference weekend. I enjoyed this conference so much and it was probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable conference experiences I've had. This was my last time being able to watch conference as a set apart missionary and it just meant a lot to me to hear about the gathering of israel as my mission is coming to a close here in a few short months. I hope yall enjoyed it as well and got spiritually uplifted in the places that you needed to be. I want you guys to pause for a second and brace yourselves for impact. Maybe buckle your seat belts if you will. We're about to talk about an eventful week. Last week I mentioned how we were planning on talking about baptism with a few of our friends. TLM (Trenchcoat Loving Mission)

Howdy doodly!      Picture this: We're all having a good time and enjoying life as it goes. Things are going so smooth that it begins to be a little suspicious, and thats when it hit me, that darn trenchcoat. See, last pday my companion and I went thrift shopping with the other missionaries. Unbenounced to me, I would see it. I would come to regret it. The women's trench coat. He buys a women's trench coat and has worn it everyday since. If I didn't know any better I would think he showers, and sleeps in it. I was also given special permission via request, to write about this in today's episode. We were supposed to have a great week with more than 10 lessons, but they all punched through and canceled.
