Sup gang!? 


     How's everyone doing? It's been a whole week! Did you guys miss me or what? I seriously can't believe how fast the time is going by. I try to reflect on what happened or what went down, and it honestly all just becomes one massive blur. The days are relatively the same, and they go by painfully slow sometimes, but the week just zooms by and here I am writing another weekly email and I have no idea what to put in it. I guess I'll start off by saying that I am still a missionary. I know I know, some of you are surprised I made it this far. I'm still in Hobbs and that's been fun. I still wear basically the same outfit everyday. And I still love my mission. This week has just been full of finding people through tracting, having lots of lessons fall through and trying not to be upset at that, and lots and lots of ice cream. Like lots. 


     We had some friends come to church this week which was good because that's been a struggle here for some reason. Waldo, and Chris came and they both dipped after first hour despite ours and the wards efforts to get them to stay, but they enjoyed the messages that were shared so that's good. We're hoping to put Waldo on a new baptismal date here pretty soon. We're praying and hoping for the 19th so pray for Waldo guys! Yvette and her family are all on date for the 11th currently but as we meet with them more, we realize that we are going to have to do a lot more to prepare them for baptism, so we are pushing their date back as well.

A Good Week

Hey!        It hasn't been that long since we last talked! All is well here in Hobbs America. My new companion elder Hepworth is really cool and he lives up to the reputation of being a hard worker. It's been nice to push each other and get lots of work done. We had an incredible day on Saturday where we talked to 31 people and had door step lessons and gave out lots of book of Mormons. It was an exhausting day, but I loved it so much. We have some good appointments set up for this coming week that I'm excited for and some will be with really prepared people, so I'm hoping we can progress with them. Other than that it's been amazing so far and I'm really enjoying it, and hobbs is just getting better and better.        The mission has been a huge Rollercoaster these past 18 months. The Magnificent Work Of The Lord

Look who's back      Man what a great conference weekend. I enjoyed this conference so much and it was probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable conference experiences I've had. This was my last time being able to watch conference as a set apart missionary and it just meant a lot to me to hear about the gathering of israel as my mission is coming to a close here in a few short months. I hope yall enjoyed it as well and got spiritually uplifted in the places that you needed to be. I want you guys to pause for a second and brace yourselves for impact. Maybe buckle your seat belts if you will. We're about to talk about an eventful week. Last week I mentioned how we were planning on talking about baptism with a few of our friends. Well we extended invitations to 6 of our friends and they all accepted it! We are going to be baptizing Waldo on the 20th this month (unless I get transfered) and Yvette with her 4 kids on May 11th. TLM (Trenchcoat Loving Mission)

Howdy doodly!      Picture this: We're all having a good time and enjoying life as it goes. Things are going so smooth that it begins to be a little suspicious, and thats when it hit me, that darn trenchcoat. See, last pday my companion and I went thrift shopping with the other missionaries. Unbenounced to me, I would see it. I would come to regret it. The women's trench coat. He buys a women's trench coat and has worn it everyday since. If I didn't know any better I would think he showers, and sleeps in it. I was also given special permission via request, to write about this in today's episode. We were supposed to have a great week with more than 10 lessons, but they all punched through and canceled. Every. Single. One. The same week my companion decides to wear this trenchcoat. Coincidence? I think not. Illuminati confirmed. There must be a spirit attached to it, or maybe a curse, legend has it.
