Weak Week.

Morning everybody       Hope yall had a happy Thanksgiving, and stuffed your faces full of turkey and all kinds of good stuff. My Thanksgiving was really good! We had good food and it was just a nice chill day for us. I'm not going to lie, this week was a bit of a challenge. We had 13 people at the beginning of this week that we were actively working with, now we have 3. We dropped lots of people because they haven't been progressing or we just haven't been able to keep their interest. This area is uniquely challenging because there's so many churches here, and no one really cares to hear about ours. I'm sure I've said that a lot. We're literally in the lions den. But now that we have nobody to teach, that means we have to grind the rest of this transfer and find people. I've been kind of lacking in motivation lately so knocking doors all day doesn't really help, or get me excited. It would also be the 4th area where I've had to come in and reviv...

Hymn #93

Hey hey hey       How's it going yall? I've got a lot to cover so let's jump into it. We attended 2 wards at church because of the ward split, and it was my first time ever doing that. It was pretty exhausting but super nice to see new faces and also old ones. The river oaks ward is now the best ward, and it's not even close. Also apparently some rumors are spreading about me in the Abilene area, and it's pretty hilarious. I shared the story of my cousin and I selling the furniture at BYUi with maybe 2 members, and now the whole city of abilene seems to know as well. I brought it upon myself, but I can't escape it now, and the street credit of all that is now growing again. One member even called the old apartment complex where it all went down to get validation that it's true, and the apartment complex started hounding them about a couch that is STILL lost. I can't complain too much because our meal calander is full for every single day, so now I got to...

I Think I'm In Love

Howdy doodley        Gotcha! Don't mind the title it has nothing to do with anything. I've been staying pretty busy, which has been nice, but it's putting strain on my body. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but my body is pretty jacked up. I woke up one morning, started stretching, and my chest caved in and now I have to get my ribs adjusted to pop the peice in my chest back out, but no one here can do it. I'm slowly falling apart, but I only have 8 more months so I can push through. Just keep me in your prayers. But regardless of being brittle, my week was really good. We had a couple of really good first lessons with some new people. Emmanuel and Desmond. Emmanuel was really interested in what we were teaching him about the book of mormon and just kept asking more and more questions trying to juice it all out. We invited him to read the book of mormon and he said he would. Desmond we also had a really good first lesson with. He is looking for a church and he ...

Where Does The Time Go?

Hello everyone.       Sorry for the late update, I know some of you really enjoy reading my emails, especially when I'm usually consistent at releasing them around the same time in the mornings. We just got done playing some basketball with some friends and I'm slowly getting better, so that's pretty cool. Not much has really happened since the last update since it was so recent, but I'll fill you in anyways.       So as you know I'm in a trio now, and I'm training. It's been pretty good so far. I've been a missionary for a while now and I forget what it's like to be new so I'm catching myself having to remember to fill my greenie in on things and kind of explain it simply. Hopefully he doesn't end up being all messed up but I'm sure he will be fine. If not, that one's on me lol. He's pretty cool, just a little quiet as well as my previous comp, so sometimes I talk to myself because no one responds but that's pretty much the s...

Transfers

Image
What's uppppp       So this week was transfers which is why I'm emailing today and not Monday. Me and elder Jensen are staying but we're getting a greenie! So we will be training in a trio and we're pretty excited about it. This week was pretty all over the place. Our miracle guy, Will, called us and dropped us so that was super sad. We're going to visit him later this week and try to find out what's going on there but we're going to stay in contact with him. We've been slowly growing our teaching pool and just been staying consistent with who we're teaching and also finding at the same time. We decorated our car for Halloween and had a fun party with the wards here. Abilene is splitting into 4 wards and were going to have to share that with the ZLs here and I'm really looking forward too that. Anyways that's about it, not a whole lot and I've been busy so I'm sorry for the short email.  Love yall!
