Happy new year!       Man this year has been probably one of the most, if not the most impactful year of my life. I started this year as a missionary, and I ended, well, still a missionary. I'm so grateful for literally everything that I experinced. I hope yalls year was good too! I've also probably never used the word year that many times in my life. Im excited to continue here in hobbs, and also see what's in store for me in 2024. I'm loving it here in Hobbs. I think it might take the #2 spot for favorite ares, but I'll wait until after I'm done with it. This week's been incredibly busy, and it's been so good. Busy is best. We got to meet with some incredible people, and also the local New Mexico Crack heads. Ho Ho Hello!        Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope your day was filled with love and joy. My day was amazing and I'm so grateful for the time that I had and all the people who shared their kind words and love! This week was a pretty good week! We met some pretty cool people, had lots of fun with other missionaries, and just had a good time! Our apartment is slowly coming together now, and deep cleaning everyday is exhausting, but so worth it. We also learned that tracting on Christmas eve probably isn't the best idea because no one wants to meet with you, and sending a huge text to over 1,000 people wishing them a merry Christmas is a nightmare. My phone dropped 30% in less than 5 minutes due to how many responses we got and how much texts my phone sent out.      I recently finished the book of mormon the other day and the ending is always so freaking good. What's up gang?       Okay, I'm impressed. Blown away even. I'm gonna keep it real with you guys, when I heard I was going to Hobbs I had my expectations pretty low, and I was sad to hear I'd be separated from the cities again, but boy did I get humbled. This area is really good and I'm really liking it already. I've been extremely busy these past 3 days and it's been so refreshing. My district here is awesome, and my companion is literally the same person as my little brother. The apartment we live in has been pretty neglected so we've been deep cleaning it, and apparently it's the notorious haunted hobbs apartments that I've heard many stories about, so that's exciting. (I'm actually excited about that cuz I get more ghost stories) but I'm really liking this area a lot, and the lord actually confirmed to me that this is where I need to be. What's up cuties!?       Well you read it. I got my transfer news. I'm leaving Abilene and I'm headed to Hobbs New Mexico! My new companion is elder Nichols. I have no idea what to think or expect, and I've kind of become numb to change and to transfers at this point, but I think it will be good. This has been the shortest I've stayed in any of my areas so it's a little weird to leave after 2 transfers. That's usually when I'm adjusted and ready to start going ham, but now I get to experince something new which I'm always excited to do. I've enjoyed my time here and I'm ready for what awaits.       I'm just starting to feel better after being sick since Monday. In fact I probably pushed a little too hard today, because I was so excited to finally be able to work and get out of the apartment. We had a bunch of goodbyes, and they gave us so many treats and just spoiled us with meals and all kinds of goodies. By the time we got to our dinner...
