Hey hey hey!       So this week was transfers so it was a little rocky getting used to new missionaries and biking and adjusting to a bunch of stuff but this week was pretty chill compared to the week before. In fact this week sucked compared to last week. We were on fire last week and got 9 people to church, and this week we had like 4 lessons which is a lotttttt less than last week's. But I'm not one to compare, just giving some insight on this week.        With that being said my butt is hurting so bad. I've been putting MILES on my bike now that we're biking this transfer. And boy does it absolutely suck. Not gonna lie I have been enjoying it for the most part, it's kinda fun to bike around and meet people and have fun and all that. But the next morning is when the 7 stages of grief kicks in and I just want to lay in bed and sleep all day and take pain meds. But it's been a major adjustment to figure out and plan lessons hours in bet...

The Death Of Blue Angel

Howdy doodlie,      This week was absolutely insane! Forget previous best weeks, this one wins! The mission is just getting better and better. I'm loving the work and the challenges. This week was week 7 of my first transfer. And I got transfer news!! I'm staying here in Odessa with Elder Ili (so so happy) for another transfer! But sadly we are on bikes this transfer... But that's becuase they opened an area in our zone and brought more elders and also the Spanish elders here DESTROYED their car into pieces. So we have to suffer and give up our car. While it sucks, I am starting to get lowkey excited for it! Our boundaries are MASSIVE however, so we're gonna have to plan lessons hours in advanced. We start the new transfer on Tuesday!       Speaking of lessons... oh boy let me tell ya, we've had our hands full. We have been teaching 16 people that are progressing towards being put on date. (at the very least, 2 investigator lessons a day) and also...

Does Jesus Christ help us through hard times? Absolutely Jesus Christ helps us through hard times! It might be difficult to understand that he is there for us when we are struggling, or difficult to see his hand in times we need it most. But that doesn't mean he isn't there. I've shared this probably too many times, but one of the hardest things I had to go through was health complications that I have been dealing with for the past few years. Through these hard times I had to go to several doctors and do hours upon hours of test and blood work and be hooked up to all sorts of machines sometimes daily. Through that I lost out on some opportunities in school and even lost some friends along the way as well. But it took me awhile until I saw the savior saving me. In a talk by: Elder Morrison, given this last general conference titled: We Can Do Hard Things Through Him, it talks about how through the savior Jesus Christ we can carry our burdens. We are given these challenges in...

Caution: Slippery When Wet.

Sup yall!      So I just passed my 2 month mark the other day not that I'm counting or anything. But dang it's flying by so fast and I'm also still in my first transfer, this transfer has been a 7 week transfer which is typically long cuz they're usually only 6 weeks. Next transfer is only 5 which is weird too but anyways, this week was pretty good! Not a whole lot but it was a good week.       I have been having a lot of opportunities to teach on my mission which has been so good and I love just confronting people and sparking conversations cuz I'm not scared to just talk to people, and it's been helping a lot! This week we found a new person almost every day which is really hard for our area. Me and my comp are popping off and doing really really good! I haven't said anything about member dinners in a while which is always my highlights, but we haven't been fed as much as we used to. This week members just took us out to eat so there was nothing too ...

¡Hola mí amigos!       Ah man general conference was just great wasn't it? So inspiring and uplifting it really just makes me feel so much better and wanting to do better. If you haven't had the chance to watch it there's plenty of opportunities for you to listen to it or watch it throughout the week (no excuses hahaha) but seriously it was exactly what I needed to hear. I hope those that listened or watched felt the love of our savior and the need and determination to pick up our "crosses" and follow him.       This week was really good! I had my first missionary exchange this week. A missionary exchange just means I swap companions with someone else's companion for 24 hours. It went really well. I've been eating a tonnnnn of food. Its funny theres a lot of Hooters and twin peaks here which is like hooters but worse apparently, but the members and missionaries here call those places babylon. Thought I'd throw that in there. This week alone I...
