Good morning!        Whats good everyone? I hope yalls week was fantastic. It's been not that long since my last update due to transfers messing up the usual schedule but I like change so it's all good, but I might not have the most to report on. This week, like mentioned before, was transfers and my new companion Elder Greene is a really cool guy. We're getting along great and I know this is about to be a fun transfer. We spent this week pretty much just traveling, setting up the new apartment, and contacting people like crazy. Apparently the earth thought people in Texas taste good cuz going outside makes it feel like I'm inside of an oven, so that's been fun. I'm practically swimming to every door that I knock on, but at least people are actually inside cuz they're smart and hide from the sun. But each transfer comes with the opportunity to reset and kind of get a breath of fresh air, so my motivation is back! Its funny cuz elder Greene said "this is...

We Are His Hands

Howdy!       Hey sorry I forgot to mention that today is our pday instead of Monday because we have transfers tomorrow, so I'm writing today. A lot happened the past few weeks and it's taken a toll on me but we're growing. Last week we traveled to so many different little towns in our area and just walked around and tried to find people in the scorching hot heat, it wasn't ver enjoyable but it was rewarding regardless. We gave talks on fathers day and I hope all of you had an amazing Father's day. This week I also have been reflecting back a lot and looking at how I can improve myself and my spirituality and just everything in all aspects. I came to a cross road or a realization that I can either take the mission more serious and put my head down and just grind it out and become better, or I can continue to work hard but be a goof off and not really give it my all. I've decided to start giving it my all and try to be more obedient and a better example because I...

The Rise Of Alpine

Hello from Alpine!       You read the title right, Alpine is on an upward climb for Elder Aden and I! I'm so grateful for the progress that we made and I'm grateful for the chance to see the hard work start paying off. I've truly been tested while out here in Alpine, and it's a constant battle, but I'm not one to ever throw in the towel. I've been so blessed to get the hard stuff while out here. I'm grateful for every single hard second. I can truly feel the lord working in my efforts and in my life and he's literally dragging me through, but I'm making it because of him. Next week is going to be the busiest week in my entire life most likely. It looks like a huge mountain thats going to be hard to climb, but one step after another I'm going to reach the top. We're traveling to every single outlining town this upcoming week, and we only have 3 days to really do it. We have over 5 outlining towns and they're all more than an hour away, but...

How good is your relationship with God? Lately I have had a lot of time to meditate, pray, and reflect on my life and think about how I have felt God helping me through my journeys, and how I've built my relationship with him. In a world so full of noise, it's often times hard to hear the still small voice of our savior and the spirit. This can cause us to sometimes feel discouraged, disconnected, hopeless, confused, and lost. We might ask ourselves, like Jesus Christ did on the cross, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" While we may feel he is not there sometimes, through faith, daily prayer, and studying the scriptures, we can communicate with God and build a relationship with him. God loves you individually and he is waiting for you to call on him so he can answer your personal prayers and relieve you from your hardest most troubling burdens. I recently had an experience where I have had my prayers answered. For as long as I can remember, I prayed for a fam...

I Made President Child Cry

Hey its me again,        If you know me, you know that I enjoy Rollercoasters of all kinds, but not when my week is all over the place and I'm going through loops and turns, because that's what this week was for me. On pday we didn't get much of a break. We helped someone move (they weren't even in our area) the whole day and it was very hot and the house was not clean in the slightest. I got sick the next day because of how gross it was and I was a little frustrated I won't lie, but I did it and I sucked it up. This week we also had zone conference and it was a bittersweet experience. I got to see some friends I haven't seen in a couple weeks which made me so happy and I also got to talk to some other friends as well, but it was president and sister child's last zone conference. For his very last instruction ever, he gave an entire lesson on a talk that I invited him to listen to. He even said that I inspired him to give this instruction and of course after...
